PORT LOCATION
- Located 35 km from the town of Kribi in the locality of Mboro.
- Built on a net surface area of about 24 ha.
- Backed by a land reserve of more than 26,000 ha.
- Surrounded by countries of the hinterland to the East side of the Atlantic Ocean, in the Gulf of Guinea, thus placing the country at the heart of North-South maritime lines.

- Deep-sea port connected to the sea by a 650 metre long.
- 200 metre wide and 15 metre deep channel.
- 600 m diameter turning zone and is
- Protected from the dominant swell by a 1350 m embarkment dike sealed by a wing-wall.

PORT DUES BASED ON VESSEL
- All the costs are indicated in Euro and invoices to be paid in Euro, XAF or any other currency at daily ROE.
- All the costs indicated without VAT.
- All the vessels calling Kribi port will pay a due named «ISPS safety fee» which amount is 5% of the total FDA.
- Vessels are regrouped into 7 classes as follows:

02 tugs/01 hour each. 02 tugs assistance is compulsory for each vessel over 10 000 GRT.

CALCULATION

  • Tariffs are calculated as follow: 455 € + 0,0384 € x tens TJB above 10 000 TJB.
  • A 50% surchage will be applied for any assistance provided :

  • - Between 18h00 and 06h00
    - On Saturday and sunday (from 18h00 till monday 06h00)
    - On public holiday as from 18h00 the day before till 06h00 after holiday.

CALCULATION
  • Tariffs are calculated as follow: 230,5 € + 0,0072 € x tens TJB above 10 000 TJB.
  • A 50% surchage will be applied for any assistance provided :

  • - Between 18h00 and 06h00
    - On saturday and sunday (from 18h00 till Monday 06h00)
    - On public hiliday as from 18h00 the day before till 06h00 the after the holiday.

 

III - OTHER CHARGES

For any other request out of above mentioned list of other charges or assistance out of port limit, the tug company can negociate terms directly with the requestor, subject to authorization of the licenser and tug availability.


V - SERVICE REQUEST

1) Towage & mooring services are requested by any means which will be advised by the supplier in accordance licenser with copy harbour master.

2) Any vessel calling kribi port should advise notice of arrival as follows:
  1. Immediately further sailing from previous port or after receipt of voyage instruction to proceed to kribi port.
  2. 72 hours
  3. 48 hours
  4. 24 hours
  5. 12 hours
  6. 06 hours
  7. 01 hour before arrival time at the place were tug will join the vessel.

3) In addition of ETA, below below details to be provide to Harbour Master 01 hour max before ETA :
  1. Vessel name and call sign;
  2. Maximum arrival draft;
  3. Any change of arrival draft or any details witch could affect towage assistance;/li>
  4. Disponibilité de la jetée et emplacement du poste d'amarrage;
  5. ETD

4) Harbour Master shoul be informed on any change in ETA or ETD.
In case of changes of more than 2 hours with regards to initial ETA, Vessel should promptly notify Harbour Master. Tug assistance request can be amended till 48 Hours before the date & time initially planned.

5) Any vessel anchored in kribi port water should notify harbour Master as follows :
  1. 12 Hours;
  2. 06 Hours;
  3. 01 Hours prior ETA at the place where the tug willoin the vessel./li>
  4. Port is normally equiped with 02 tugs. In case of needs of more than 02 tugs, Harbour Master should advise the Tug Company 10 days prior ETA. Cost of this 3rd tug will be discussed and fixed between tug company and contractors prior operation.
