II – TOWAGE GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • The contractual period begins as of the moment when the tug(s), approaching the contracting vessel to cast or receive the towline, to push the vessel or to undertake any operation in connection with towage, is/are liable to receive orders from it, whether or not these are given, or is/are sufficiently close to the vessel to be subjected to its action or liable to collide with it or be hit by it.
  • The contractual period ends once the operation is completed, as soon as the tug(s) have moved sufficiently away from the vessel so as to no longer be subjected to its action or liable to collide with it or be hit by it.
  • The towed vessel may, at its own request, use its own towlines, but this shall in no way entitle it to any reduction in the towage fee.
  • The Company reserves the right to replace, even during maneuvers, one or more tugs with others either from its own.
