Ebome Oilfield is located at South East of the KRIBI Port

Ebome Marine Terminal consists of
 
- The Storage Tanker "La Lobe" ( DWT = 68 820 MT ; LOA = 228 ml ) Permanently moored on 8 anchor legs.
- The SPM Buoy (Single Point Mooring) is anchored on 29 m depth waters.
- The mooring hawser connecting export buoy to tanker is done by a single mooring rope (50 m - Diam 18") with a 3" chain at its end.
Transfer of oil from the buoy to a lifting tanker is made through a single string of 16" floating hoses (about 240 ml).
 
Temporary anchorage area :
A Circle area of 1 mile radius with
Center Lat 2° 48, 385' North / Long 9° 47, 126' East.
Terminal restrictions :
LOA / BEAM : no restrictions
-   Draft : maximum departure draft : 30 m
-   Dead weight : From 50 000 mt to 180 000 mt
 
The Terminal could accept Tanker up to 180 000 DWT calling only as first port with a maximum displacement after loading being 100 000 mt
- Distance bow/manifold from 104 to 174 m
- Berthing : Daylight berthing only
- Sailing possible at night.
 
Loading means : 1 SBM buoy
Connection of manifolds port side: 1 flange of 16" (150 ASA)
1 Chain is used to secure tanker on SBM.
Tanker must be fitted with min 3'' Chain stopper in compliance with OCIMF
 
Loading rate :
EBOME Crude Oil = UP TO 3 215 M3 / 20000 BBLS per Hour
API Gravity 60° F = 31.28       Density = 0.8688
 
Terminal facilities :
Bunkering not possible, fresh water not available
Ballast discharge is prohibited: Tanker shall arrived with clean ballast.

COMMUNICATION + NOTICE
 
1.1 Notice of arrival
1.1.1 Estimated time of arrival (E.T.A.)
72 hours prior to arrival, vessels should send a message as describe hereafter (1.1.2). This notice of arrival should be confirmed or amended when the vessel is 48 hours and again 24 hours away from Terminal.
When this procedure cannot be followed due to last port of call proximity, vessel must send ETA to EBOME TERMINAL earliest as possible.

- Information on ISPS
 
1.2 VHF RADIO COMMUNICATIONS
Marine VHF 2 hours before arrival at EBOME TERMINAL vessel must call on
VHF 13/16 EBOME TERMINAL and confirm ETA.
Manoeuvring operations are done on channel 11 VHF.
 
1.3 LANGUAGE
French and English languages are spoken at the Terminal.

Kome - Kribi terminal is located approximately 6 miles off the coast of Cameroon, 12 miles south west of the port of Kribi.

KOME KRIBI TARIFFS (Valid September 01st, 2006) :

Per each additional hour over 36 Hrs.

VHF 16 and 09 - Call "Kome-Kribi 1 Control" when in VHF range.
VHF channel 09 is the working channel for all export tanker operations.

Berthing is normally conducted during daylight hours but may take place during darkness at the discretion of the terminal.
Export tankers may sailed from the terminal at any time.
 
Mooring / Cargo Operations ArrangementT
Export tankers will moor via a typical tandem mooring arrangement bow to bow, two mooring hawsers (length 80 mtrs) with 76 mm chafing chain, attached to the chain is 150 mtrs, 80 mm Dia. Pick up rope to heave onto your storage drum.
Mooring operations will be assisted by two tugs and a mooring boat at the terminal. (Tugs lines)
At least one tug will remain moored to the stern of the export tanker throughout the export operation.
2 x 16" diameter cargo hose tails (ANSI Flanges) fitted with cam locks will be provided at the port side of the Export tanker when moored.
