INVOICING BASIS
Port dues are based on vessel’s volume in cubic meter (m3).
Volume = L (LOA) x B (Beam) x D (Summer Draught).
Vessel’s maximum draught used in the above formula shall be greater than or equal to :

A - DOUALA PORT TARIFFS (Euro currency)

 
I - CHANNEL TOLL
  The tariffs of the channel toll are fixed as follows. Per m3 Per call (Entry/Exit).

APPLICATION :
* The channel toll is payable once by any vessel entering at Douala, Bonaberi or Manoka.
* Vessels sailing back at pilot station, further to port decision or in case of force majeure are exempted from a new payment of the channel toll.
* Channel toll Discount.
Discounts on channels toll tariffs are granted to port operators with certain number (N) of calls during period from January 01st to december 31st.
Application should be made not later than 3 months at the end of the period. End of March for period from January to December.

V - PILOTAGE TARIFFS AT DOUALA
- Pilotage tariff for entry and departure : 0.03 € per Cbm
- Shifting Pilotage tariff or change of vessels side
01st shifting : 0.03 € per Cbm
Following Shiftings : 0.05 € per Cbm
- Shifting without pilot : 87.00 € per movement
- Charge for pilot waiting on departure or arrival
Per hour or delay and after one hour of waiting : 26.00 €
- Unnecessary pilot’s displacement : 0.03 € per Cbm + 52 €
- Pilotage beyond normal limits : 0.05 € per Cbm
*   The pilot boards the vessel still anchored at the base buoy
*   The pilot boards the vessel before it reaches the base buoy
*   The pilot takes the vessels over base buoy.

The towing operation is carried out by the Towing Management Unit (TMU) as per following tariffs - Decision N°0023/APN/DG/DRCAP of 06 April 2022 - Validity 01/01/23 - 31/12/2028.

1- Vessels with GRT over 10 000 Ts pay an additional € 0.356 per ten tons over 10 000 Ts.
2- Vessels with GRT less than 600 Ts pay a flat rate of € 155.73 per hour.
3- Movements made between 18h00-6h00 as well as on Saturdays/Sundays and holidays are increased by 50%.
4- Adding € 84,54 in case of use of the tug’s trailer.
5- Tugboat watch : € 50.47 at day
  € 94.45 at night, Saturdays/Sundays and Holidays.
6- Tug’s cancellation :
Lumpsum : € 129.26 flat rate
GENERAL CONDITIONS
  The contractual period begins as of the moment when the tug(s), ap proaching the contracting vessel to cast or receive the towline, to push the vessel or to undertake any operation in connection with towage, is/are liable to receive orders from it, whether or not these are given, or is/are sufficiently close to the vessel to be subjected to its action or liable to collide with it or be hit by it.
  The contractual period ends once the operation is completed, as soon as the tug(s) have moved sufficiently away from the vessel so as to no longer be subjected to its action or liable to collide with it or be hit by it.
  The towed vessel may, at its own request, use its own townlines, but this shall in no way entitle it to any reduction in the towage fee.
  The company reserves the right to replace, even during maneuvers, one or more tugs with others either from its own
 
TUG USE
Ships may decide on one or more tugs except for operations specified below, where 2 tugs are mandatory.

The tariff schedule is based on the ship’s gross tonnage. (GRT) GRT taken into account is that available from the LLOYD’S Register of Shipping or from the certificate of a recognized classification society.
Tariffs are on hourly basis and any hour once started being due in full.
